Katadata.co, a new publication company provides news, insight information, and analysis of business data in Indonesia and a sister company of PT Independent Research and Advisory Indonesia (IRAI). HR Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Full spectrum of HR matters
  • Provide HR support in all aspects, with emphasis in recruitment / training.
  • Prepare payroll.
  • As a contact point for employee on HR matters.
  • Keep track of attendance and annual leave movement.
  • Prepare staff employment contract.
  • Filing, maintaining and updating all administrative records.
  • General office administration duties.
  • Other ad hoc task as and when required.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree of Psychology, Human Resources and Law with at least 2 years of experience in human resources area from reputable Universities
  • Excellent in English, verbal and written
  • Computer literate (MS Excel,MS Word, and MS Power Point)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Meticulous and Self-organised

Web & Print Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform artistic design and layout for the website and for print publication
  • Determines and develops the look and feel for company sites, and is responsible for site navigation design and visual execution
  • Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts
  • Understanding of layout, type and color, and is able to create a complete layout, working proficiently in InDesign, QuarkXPress, Photoshop,  Illustrator and other software for design

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree from reputable Universities
  • Expert in using design softwares such as Adobe illustrator,Photoshop, Corel Draw, Macromedia Freehand
  • Able to use Adobe Flash Software is an advantage
  • Have a good quality design on web & print media
  • Creative and team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Include samples of portfolio


Finance & Accounting Staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statement
  • Ensure financial policies and procedures in accordance with standard financial/ accounting policies in general
  • Creating a cash flow and forecast expenditure
  • Manage and monitor the accounting and financial and reporting system
  • Following the policy and regulatory changes in financial procedures
  • Ensure that the financial statements is valid / accurate
  • Create and manage corporate tax reports
  • Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from reputable Universities
  • At least  1 year experience in the related field
  • Computer literate (MS Excel,MS Word, and MS Power Point)
  • Have a good understanding about tax, accounting, budgeting

Research Staff

 Responsibilities:

  • Assists in planning and designing of business database
  • Collecting business data and specific information
  • Giving inputs and analyzing data
  • Writing business reports

 

Requirements:

  •  Bachelor degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Social Science/Humanities/Business from reputable universities
  • Fresh graduate or 1 year experience in quantitative research area
  • Excellent in English, verbal and written
  • Has exceptional analytical and logical abilities

Photographer

 

Responsibilities:

  • Producing documentation on business images
  • Editing images on a computer
  • Responsible for all the need of images/photos
  • Working with team to discuss the images they require
  • Managing the processing and use of images
  • Developing a good portfolio, building a network of contacts

 

Requirements:

  • Capable of doing photo editing
  • Adept at operating Photoshop CS3/CS4/CS5
  • Include samples of works in printed form / soft copy, up to 3 copies

 

Editor

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish business, corporate and market news
  • Responsible for news updating
  • Manage news and reporters in covering various issues
  • Collect and disseminate the business, corporate and market news
  • Develop uncovered business stories
  • Interviewing people and reliable sources
  • Should be able to meet the deadlines in terms of creating a story

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree from reputable universities
  • Excellent in English, verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • At least 3 years experience as writer/editor on business issues
  • Have a good understanding of the business and economic issues
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadline, fast learner, and good interpersonal skills


Senior Reporter

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and disseminate the business, corporate and market news
  • Writing and investigating on various business and corporate issues
  • Develop uncovered business stories
  • Interviewing people and reliable sources
  • Should be able to meet the deadlines in terms of creating a story

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree from reputable universities
  • Excellent in English, verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • At least 2 years experience in the related field
  • Have a good understanding  of the business and economic issues, especially about market economy
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadline, fast learner, and good interpersonal skills

Reporter

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and disseminate the business, corporate and market news
  • Writing and investigating on various business and corporate issues
  • Develop uncovered business stories
  • Interviewing people and reliable sources
  • Should be able to meet the deadlines in terms of creating a story

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree from reputable universities
  • Fresh graduate are welcome
  • Excellent in English, verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Have knowledge and interest in economics and business journalism
